Oracle Technical Consultant

Requirements:

Design, install and maintain complex function of major database systems including, access, validation checks, security, documentation and tuning 
Design, implement and support databases using Oracle DBMS, developing programs using PL/SQL, integrating major complex systems, leading and conducting complex backup, recovery and query tuning and serving as an interface between users and information systems / processing specialists

Design, develop and maintain applications using Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Portal and Discoverer
Able to perform complex DBA tasks, be able to write complex UNIX scripts, coordinate and participate in large database projects, and have an understanding of UNIX architecture
Must have experience using tools such as SQL, PL/SQL, and monitoring and performance tuning of very large databases 
Have a thorough understanding of Oracle internal structure and processing such as detailed knowledge memory structures and the ability to write backup, restore scripts, and design a backup strategy
Experience in OLAP and Data Warehousing database architectures a plus
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field
